This morning Northwest Local School District Administration was made aware of a bomb threat that was made via email against Colerain High School, Colerain Middle School and Northwest High School as well as other schools in the Cincinnati area.
The Colerain Township Police have investigated this issue and do not deem it to be a credible threat at this time. School as well as school related activities will continue as scheduled.
Out of an abundance of caution, we will have a heightened police presence in our buildings throughout the day. All visitors to NWLSD schools will continue to be screened appropriately to ensure the safety of all students and staff on campus. We encourage staff and students to always See Something, Say Something and to report any suspicious activity to the building and district administration.
As always, safety is our top priority.
