Northwest Local School District Proudly Welcomes Jake Kuhnline as the Director of Student Services
Northwest Local School District is proud to welcome Jake Kuhnline as the new Director of Student Services. Mr. Kuhnline enters his 18th year in education, bringing experience as a teacher, school administrator, education consultant, and district-level administrator. He has taught and led at both the middle and high school levels and brings district-level leadership experience in overseeing curriculum, instruction, and assessment across all K-12 subject areas and programs. Most recently, he spent the past two years at Cincinnati Public Schools as the Senior Director of Leadership Development and School-Based Pipelines, where he led recruitment and selection for assistant principals and principals, as well as developmental programs for future administrators.
He earned his Bachelor's degree from Knox College, his Master’s in Administration and Supervision from National Louis University, and his principal licensure from Ashland University.
Mr. Kuhnline is the proud husband of his wife, Shannon, and father to Sophia, Thomas, and Sadie. His wife is also an educator.
He is eager to work collaboratively with all members of the Northwest Local community to create a responsive learning environment where all students are valued, challenged, and guided along a pathway to success.
Pending Board approval, Mr. Kuhnline will step into his new role as Director of Student Services for Northwest Local School District on August 1, 2024
