Academics
Estrella is flat out the best student we have on our team. She asks tremendous questions in her never ending quest to have straight A's and to become better in all of her subject areas. Estrella does not accept "average grades". She wants and needs to get things done correctly and demands that her teachers spend time with her to make sure that she completely understands the subject matter. Estrella is also a great classmate. She wants to help others do well and is willing to sit and explain things to her classmates that they may misunderstand when coming from the teacher. Her effort and attitude have led her to a 3.83 GPA after the first two quarters here at PRMS, and trust me she was upset about that one B.
Citizenship
As stated above, Estrella is very helpful, and is more than willing to help others with their work, which helps her teachers motivate some students who struggle. Estrella does a nice job of being inclusive in the classroom and is genuinely liked by everyone. Her positive attitude and zest for learning helps to motivate the entire class.
