Planning That Drives Success:
During the 2023-24 school year, Northwest Local School District developed a three year One Plan. Members of the entire school community engaged with us in a comprehensive needs assessment process in order to identify critical needs and set new goals for the new three-year plan which will be implemented in the Fall of 2024. Below you will find the steps we have taken to ensure a pathway to success.
1. Needs Assessment: Conducted a thorough analysis to identify the primary areas requiring improvement within our district.
2. Root Cause Analysis: Examined the underlying factors contributing to the identified needs to develop targeted interventions.
3. Prioritizing Top 3 Needs: Focused on the most critical areas that would drive significant improvement in student outcomes.
4. Goal Development: Established clear, measurable goals to guide our efforts and track progress.
5. Strategy Selection: Chose evidence-based strategies that aligned with our goals and addressed the root causes of our identified needs.
6. Adult Measures & Monitoring: Implemented mechanisms to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies among educators and staff.
7. Student Measures & Monitoring: Developed tools to assess student progress and outcomes, ensuring alignment with our goals.
8. Action Steps: Outlined specific, actionable steps to execute the selected strategies effectively.
9. Linking Resources & Funding: Allocated necessary resources and secured funding to support the successful implementation of the plan.
